EL PASO, TEXAS (09/29/22) – Just Between Friends, a pop-up marketplace for families to buy and sell the highest quality of gently-used children's, baby, and maternity clothing and gear, has announced a new franchise location that will be coming to the El Paso region. This deal marks Just Between Friends’ debut in El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico, which will host several seasonal sales each year at major venues in the area. This pop-up consignment sale will serve as a resource to help local families make and save money on everything their growing kids need.

New franchisees Jen Quinn and Lyndsie Salcido are both native El Pasoans. Jen is a former NICU nurse with a background in sales and marketing and is a mom of 4.  Jen is also a proud co-owner of the restaurant that her grandparents opened in west El Paso in 1961: The iconic Charcoaler Drive-in. Lyndsie, a mom of 6, has worked as a business owner in the children’s boutique, personalized gift, and special events industries for over 15 years. Jen and Lyndsie are excited to use their combined skills and experiences as moms and business owners to serve their hometown through Just Between Friends community sales events.  Jen and Lyndsie cannot wait for the Grand Opening of their woman-owned and operated franchise location in El Paso on April 19, 2023, at the former men’s Dillard’s in Sunland Park Mall.

Grand Opening Event Details

  • Presale – April 19, 2023: Early shopping opportunity for sellers, ticket holders, and special guests (1st responders, new/pregnant moms, military, teachers, daycares, foster families).
  • Open to the Public – April 20-23, 2023: Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
  • 50% Off Day – April 22, 2023: Discount shopping day and many items are an additional 50% off.
  • 75% Off Day – April 23, 2023: The last day of the sale and many items are an additional 75% off.

At a Just Between Friends sale, parents and grandparents can shop rows and rows of baby and children’s shoes, toys, clothing, maternity, and baby equipment at 50 - 90% off retail prices. As a consignor, they can sell gently-used items and earn between 60 - 75% from sales. From toys and books to maternity items and beyond, growing families can shop for all of their needs. Rather than throwing out items that no longer fit children or have a use, the items are able to be upcycled rather than ending up in a landfill.


“We are two local El Paso moms—both born and raised here in the beautiful Sun City.  Between the two of us we have ten kids, so we get it, raising kids is expensive! That's why we wanted to bring Just Between Friends to our community—to provide a new way for local families to take great care of their growing kids by shopping and selling!”


Just Between Friends ensures that all products purchased and sold meet mandatory safety standards. Staff members stay up-to-date on current recalled items and will ensure that there are no recalled products at the sale. The brand has an on-staff product safety specialist to make sure that all items are safety-checked to meet current standards, including essential baby gear like strollers and car seats.

At the end of each Just Between Friends sale, items are donated to local organizations which help women, children and families, serving groups that provide clothing closets, crisis centers, transitional emergency care, food banks and many other services.
