Woohoo! You’ve completed the hardest part of selling…now it’s time to prepare for drop-off, shop the sale early, and watch your consignor check GROW!
Walking into a decluttered home is an amazing feeling, but it’s even more rewarding knowing that the items you are parting with will be going into the hands of local families, AND a nice check will be entering your bank account after the sale 💜
Let’s get you prepared for drop-off! 🚙
We recommend organizing your clothing by
1) gender,
2) size, and
3) category (example: tops, bottoms, outfit sets, dresses, outerwear, etc.).
Having these sorted in advance will make drop-off much easier and quicker as you place your items in the correct areas around the venue.

PRO TIP: For a quicker drop-off, label your totes, boxes, and bags with the type of items. Also, if you have a wagon, bring it along to help with loading/unloading.
ARRIVING FOR DROP OFF
Check In: Bring a small JBF item to scan at the welcome desk.
A limited number of rolling racks, wagons, and carts are available to borrow. If you plan to take one outside, you’ll need to leave an ID with us.
Clothing Inspection: Load your clothing items on a rack and then drop off all clothing at the inspection area. While clothing is being inspected, take your shoes, toys, and other non-clothing items to their designated drop zones on the sales floor for inspection.
Place Items on the Sales Floor: Once non-clothing items are placed, return to the inspection station. Pick up your approved clothing and hang it in the correct section. Any “No Thank You” items will be returned to you at this time.
Safety Check: Items a child sits in, is carried in, or sleeps in will be checked at the Safety & Recalls Station. Complete car seat & crib waivers in advance, or we’ll have them available at drop-off.
Large Items: Attach a large item claim ticket to each large item. This helps shoppers know how to buy it during the sale.

One of the biggest perks to consigning with JBF (aside from a decluttered home!) is that you get to shop before we open to the public - and bring a guest!
